OUR STORY
Barry began his career in construction, doing maintenance work and remodeling at a family-owned motel and restaurant in LA. He worked for his brother’s construction company throughout his college years and graduated with a BA in Business Management. Afterward, he started his own company, Mill Run Builders, Inc., in 1982 in Lafayette LA.
He married Corinne in 1982. They have 2 children, Allison and Ryan, and a grandson, Nicolas. In 1986, they moved to Jacksonville, FL and Barry worked for a few builders as a superintendent. Then he started Poimboeuf Homes, Inc in 1989 and has been going strong ever since!
BARRY SAYS…

I want to get to know the families I build for, and I want them to get to know me. That way, I can better tailor the home to their needs, wants, and dreams.”
“I’ve built in all price ranges,” he adds, “But building excellence in up-scale homes has always been my specialty. Higher quality construction lends itself to upscale custom homebuilding, whether it is new home construction or remodeling.”
